| Oblique aerial view north across trace of Garlock fault where it cuts the toe of an uplifted alluvial fan at the mouth of Mesquite Canyon, a couple kilometers west of the townsite of Garlock. Road junction to Trona and to Randsburg is in lower right corner. White outcrops are lacustrine strata of Plio-Pleistocene age.
